Preschool Play
Inexpensive Simple Ideas and Activities for the Preschool Aged Kids
Preschool Play includes the following activities:
- Sandbox
Make
an indoor "sandbox" using a corrugated cardboard box or plastic
container and using rice, corn meal, lentils, or beans for the sand.
Note: Do not use food after the kids have played with in it.
- No Sew Easy Dolls
Create your own no sew easy dolls from a piece of fabric such as a washcloth, pillowcase, or even tissues.
- Bath Toys
Bath toys can be colorful tops from spray
can, small plastic bottles or containers. Keep in a mesh bag that held
onions or potatoes after bath time.
- Sock Ball
Find out how to take a pair of ordinary socks and create fun times for your children.
- Paper Dolls
Put a photo of your child on the body of
a paper doll you draw or cut out of a photo. Mount on cardboard from a
cereal or other box. Add a slit in the bottom to fit into a strip of
cardboard to make it stand up.
- Making You Own Play Mats
Find out how you can make your child's own play mats from inexpensive materials and customize it for where you live.
